Find out what happened to one child who saw a chiropractor for migraine headaches...
Imagine an 11-year-old boy who is excited about life and loves learning. Then imagine what could potentially happen to him once he develops migraines. His headaches are so bad that he can't think straight in school. When he has a migraine, reading is pointless; it can't happen. Light bothers him and all he wants to do is hide out in his bedroom in the closet, crying himself to sleep. It's not a good existence, and his parents would feel helpless.
But maybe parents don't have to feel helpless when this happens. Maybe they could take their child straight to their chiropractor's office and commit to a series of chiropractic adjustments for five treatments. And then they could assess their child's results.
That's what one set of parents did for their 11-year-old boy who had suffered endlessly from headaches of migraine severity for four years. The medical treatment wasn't working and the migraines continued, two to three times a month.
However, over one month, the parents took their child to the chiropractor who adjusted the spine of the child according to whatever spinal segments needed to be adjusted. At a nine month follow-up, the chiropractic researchers discovered that the severity of the headaches had dropped from migraine level all the way down to mild headaches. He didn't have any migraines anymore.
No one can say that every child with migraines can be helped with chiropractic but what we can say is that if one child was helped, it's entirely possible that many more children with migraine headaches may be helped with chiropractic.
